Associates from Mars Information Services in Slough have been helping to carry out improvements at Eton Wick CofE Primary School this week.

Twenty-three Associates from Mars have been painting a nursery classroom and will also be doing some repairs and painting in the outside children's play areas this week.

Eton Wick CofE Primary School is a small village church school located in between Slough and Windsor. Pupils are aged between 3 and 9 years old and come from the local area and beyond.

Steve Pitcher from Eton Wick CofE Primary School said: "On behalf of everyone at the school we very much appreciate the hard work and effort that the Mars teams of volunteers have given us with their decorating skills over the last week. The pre school children will be very happy with their new bright and colourful classroom".

Phil Alderman from Mars, said: "We've had lots of fun this week and it's been a wonderful experience. Most importantly it's been great to give something back to the local community".

Helping out at the school this week is just one of the ways that Mars Associates will be supporting the local community this month: Mars has a focus on volunteering throughout June and Associates will be participating in a number of activities and helping many organisations.

Further Mars team activity days will be taking place throughout the course of the year.
