Planting at Peterborough

November 2012

A group of associates from the Peterborough site arrived to plant trees on a cold, foggy morning in November. They were set to replace trees that had been felled in an earlier maintenance programme. The first several sessions organised by the SIM in conjunction with the SES department saw 200 saplings bedded in by associates and their families. As the trees grow, it will help offset the paper usage on site and improve the site’s carbon footprint. All the children who planted trees will be given a certificate of planting and a photo of their tree and will receive an annual photo update.
